Emerging craft spirit label, Australian Distilling Co. has continued its stellar 2021 awards season, following success at the recent San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The new label took home Double Gold for its Gold Coast Gin and Gold for its Australian Distilling Co. Gin, Australian Distilling Co. Rhapsody Ruby and Darwin Craft Gin.
The results were announced on Saturday and is the first Double Gold award for the Australian Distilling Co. family this year.
One of the oldest competitions of its kind, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition emphasises integrity, legacy and experience, and boasts esteemed judges to undertake its blind tastings.
An award from the competition is a universally recognised indicator of exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
“The San Francisco World Spirits Competition suits our brand to a tee: our products stand out from the crowd and taste unique, and we’re proud to have entered our spirit brands in this year’s awards,” said Australian Distilling Co. founder, Michael Hickinbotham.
This year ADCo. expanded its entries, including its newly released Adelaide Vodka, one of its exciting first forays into spirit-making, beyond gin distilling.
“We’re thrilled to have received Double Gold for our Gold Coast Gin and three other Gold awards for our flagship Australian Distilling Co. Gin, Australian Distilling Co. Rhapsody Ruby and craft gin, Darwin Craft Gin. It’s a huge milestone for our brand,” said Hickinbotham.
