A new taste for Australia Day Lamb

CBS Foodtech, a leader in food processing machinery and ingredients for the meat industry has launched Butchers’ Lamb, a new range of lamb rubs and marinades.

Created and produced exclusively in Australia, this range of flavour profiles is as diverse as the Aussie population, with tastes inspired from the Middle East, the French Provence and the Mediterranean.

With the combination of 30 years of experience in the industry, and the culinary collaboration with Executive Chef George Francisco, the company is not only introducing new flavours that Aussies will love but further choosing to reduce additives, chemicals, and fillers conventionally found in mass produced seasonings and spices in butchers’ products.

Selling directly to butchers across Australia and New Zealand, the lamb range includes

five new flavour profiles designed to add variety and extend the in-store product range of marinated and seasoned lamb. The flavour profiles sound as great as they taste; Moroccan Lamb Rub, Mediterranean Lamb Sausage Blend, Babylon Lamb Spice Mix, Lamb Burger Blend, and Rustique Lamb Roasting Spice.

Aside from taste, the aim behind this new range is to help butchers increase their in-store

bottom-line by having customers coming back for more; it’s a win for both the butcher and the consumer.

Each flavour comes in re-sealable zip lock packaging to ensure freshness, and seasons approximately 3-10 kg of lamb.
