The National Conference for Australia’s largest packaging representative body kicks off tomorrow, and the line-up of speakers is sure to impress.

The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) will host the biennial event at the Marriot Resort and Spa, Surfers Paradise on June 14 and 15.

AIP National President Pierre Pienaar will also provide some insight on the status of the packaging sector, along with a number of international experts from the US, Asia, UK and Germany.

Food Magazine will be in the middle of the action over the two days, reporting from the conference, so for all the latest news and developments in the industry, make sure to keep up to date with the website.

More in-depth insight into the industry and the conference will also be featured in the June edition of the magazine, including our discussions with Jacky Norsdvan, packaging expert at Nestle Australia, who is leading the charge for accessible packaging, and Richard Jones from GS1 Australia, on the use of QR Codes in the sector.
