APS Industrial opens new head office and national distribution centre in Melbourne

APS Industrial has relocated its Melbourne office to 5-7 Corporate Avenue, Rowville, effective from the 1st of September.

The 4,500sqm facility is the new head office and national distribution centre of APS Industrial and includes an interactive product showcase room and state of the art conference facility.

APS Industrial managing director David Hegarty said since the company’s launch earlier this year, it had made increasing the company’s service level and delivery capability a core focus.

“We want our customers to enjoy doing business with APS Industrial and experience all the benefits that come from partnering with a local supplier,” said Hegarty.

“First and foremost this move gives us the scale to significantly increase our local stockholding and in turn deliver the products our customers need faster – both now and into the future. It also represents our new beginning and the new choice we provide industry,” he said.

The move follows the launch of APS Industrial in March 2018, where our master distribution partnership with Siemens in Australia was announced as well as other core national distribution agreements with Weidmüller, Rittal and EPCOS (a TDK Group Company).

Since those initial launch agreements, APS Industrial have also announced a master distribution agreement with KATKO.

APS Industrial and Siemens are also continuing a collaboration, with local stockholding for Siemens industrial products to be increased at APS Industrial’s head office and distribution centre in Rowville, Melbourne as well as across our extended branch network in Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Sydney.

“This move reflects APS Industrial’s and Siemens’ shared commitment to deliver a positive customer experience,” said Hegarty.

“A seamless transition for customers is our primary focus as this move comes into effect. Furthermore, it will enable faster delivery and improved local support,” said he said.

APS Industrial is a technology partner formed by experienced leaders in the local industry and incorporates the existing businesses of Ramelec and HiTech Control Systems.

Together these two companies have been servicing the electrical needs of customers in Australia for over 20 years.
