Coles lowers meal prices for Autumn and Winter

Winter

Coles has lowered the price of over 200 products as part of its Autumn and Winter Value campaigns, helping to lower the cost of breakfast, lunch and dinner for Australian households.

The products with lower prices include key winter staples such as soups, tea, coffee, oats and convenience meals.

These latest price reductions bring the total number of products with lower prices up to 500, including breakfast cereals, fruit cups, pasta, tinned tuna, fresh convenience foods, poultry, seafood, bakery and pet food.

Coles is committed to reducing the price of its products which customers most need each week, according to Coles chief executive of Commercial and Express Greg Davis.

“Since the start of the year we’ve lowered the price of 500 products – and we’re not finished yet,” Davis said.

“With many Australians looking for ways to save money on regular purchases, we’ve lowered the cost of some of Australia’s most enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner items to deliver even better value to our customers.

“We are seeing a trend of customers wanting affordable convenience and we’ve responded to this by doubling our range of ready-to-heat and ready-to-eat meals at Coles,” he said.

“By lowering the cost of our popular Coles Kitchen convenience meals as well as our delicious hearty soups for winter, we are inspiring customers with great value premium quality meals that are quick and easy to prepare at home or on-the-go.”

Coles has continued to lower the cost of breakfast, dropping the price of four packs of bagels from $3 to $2.50 and 10 packs of Moccona coffee capsules from $6 to $4.50.

This week, Coles will lower the cost of easy lunches with Coles Kitchen convenience meals dropped by up to 13 per cent for Mac and Cheese, Spaghetti Bolognese, Carbonara and Cottage Pie, down to $6.50 per 350-400g serve.
