Food Solutions Expo 2008

The Food Solutions Expo provides practical solutions for the food research, machinery, packaging, cold chain, temperature, water and labelling problems faced every day by food processing companies.

Exhibitors will also have on display new and innovative technologies.

This year, the Emeritus Professor of Food Marketing Imperial College London, Professor David Hughes, will speak on regional and global developments in the food and drink industry and the implications for Victorian businesses. Hughes will discuss the megatrends that are driving change in the commercial world of food and drink and the counter-trends that present exciting opportunities for small- and medium-scale enterprises in domestic and export markets.

There will also be a panel discussion on packaging that will be facilitated by Prof Hughes and will include experts from Coles, government bodies and consultants, covering issues of consumer trends and what manufacturers need to work towards.

Exhibitor spaces are limited for as little as $900 for a 3 x 3mtr booth at this niche expo held in Victoria and organized by Regional Development Victoria, Industry Capability Network, the Packaging Council of Australia, Food Science Australia and the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Heating (AIRAH), the Food Industry Machinery Manufacturers of Australia (FIMMA) and the Victorian Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI). Visitor registration is $55 inclusive of GST.
