Great Temptations has successfully secured a license to produce Cadbury Muffins and Cupcake products in Australia. Four new fresh bakery products have been developed for sale in Australia in the coming months.
The contract between Great Temptations and Cadbury parent company Mondelez International began in March 2021.
Great Temptations is now able to manufacture several fresh cupcakes and muffins using Mondelez brands, including Cadbury Dairy Milk, Freddo, Cadbury Twirl, Crunchie, Caramilk and Oreo.
The new product range coming this Winter includes:
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Cupcakes – 6 pack
- Cadbury Dairy Milk Muffins – single serve, 2 pack and 6 pack.
“This is a massive opportunity to partner with the number one chocolate brand in Australia. We think these new products will be extremely popular as the celebration market continues to grow,” Great Temptations managing director Carl Quarrell said.
“Cadbury is the number one chocolate brand in Australia, with currently 48 per cent of the chocolate market here in Australia. You’ll find Cadbury in 89 per cent of Aussie households, so we can’t wait to create something new using these iconic brands. The new range is perfect for birthdays and special occasions – or just a weekend treat. We think our new muffins and cupcakes will be a huge hit with Aussie families.
“As a family-run business we want to stay true to our roots, but we now have the advantage of a great team and state-of-the-art equipment to enable us work with global companies like Mondelez International, and manufacture products under established brands like Cadbury. This is a great opportunity to combine the number one cake brand and number one chocolate brand and bring a brand-new product range to our consumers.”
“We are excited to partner with Great Temptations to launch high quality, fresh Cupcakes and Muffins for the first time in Australia – a delicious new way for consumers to enjoy Cadbury Dairy Milk!” Mondelez International licensing marketing manager ANZ Sarah Calman said.
Great Temptations is working with its existing marketing agency, Wanderlust Communications, to launch the new product range into Australia with an integrated marketing strategy and campaign.
