Mad Millie creates raw cacao chocolate kit

Mad Millie has launched a raw cacao chocolate kit that allows Australians to make their own dairy-free, milk and dark chocolate.

Available in stores across Australia from October 18, the kit contains raw, vegan and organic ingredients, such as raw cacao powder, raw cacao butter and coconut sugar.

The raw cacao powder is packed full of antioxidants, iron and magnesium, meaning that it is practically guilt free as well as being delicious.

The kits come with eight chocolate wraps, eight chocolate labels, a silicon chocolate bar mould and recipes and instructions to follow.

Each kit contains enough ingredients to make eight 55g bars, with the chocolate taking just under three hours to create.

Mad Millie Australasian sales ambassador Sasha McLean said the company wants to help people have fun reconnecting with food in the kitchen and creating something that is tasty as well as being free of unnecessary ingredients and processing.

“The chocolate kit allows for that touch of personalisation as well. The recipe can be tweaked and played with resulting in a mylk, milk or dark chocolate that is bespoke to the individual.

“It is also a really fun way to teach younger children about what goes into their favourite foods – under parental supervision, of course. It’s going to appeal to a very broad range of food lovers,” said McLean.

TheMad Millie has launched a raw cacao chocolate kit has an RRP of $79.95 and will be available online as well as in a number of Australian stores, including Myer, Australian Geographic and Kitchen Warehouse.

Mad Millie specialises in do-it-yourself gourmet, artisan, health food and drink kits.

Since Mad Millie was founded in New Zealand in 2010, the brand has branched out into all types of gourmet health foods including artisan butter, sauerkraut and kimchi, coconut yoghurt and vegan cheese.
