Green Pastures, a new milk brand founded by five dairy farming families in South-West Victoria will be hitting Coles supermarket shelves this week.
The milk will be available in one and two litre bottles, in both full cream and low-fat varieties, The Weekly Times Now reports.
Green Pastures describes itself as a new, innovative and environmentally responsible brand of fresh milk that holds a strong commitment to sustainable green farming practices.
The Green Pastures movement facebook page states that the group has “gone out on a very big limb to change the way they farm entirely to a green, sustainable farming methodology that reduces or in some cases replaces chemical fertilisers with a beautiful, organic, compost made on farms by recycling all the waste from the dairy.”
The brand is reported to have its official launch next week.
