Temple Brewing Company brought back from receivership

Melbourne based brewery, the Temple Brewing Company will be reopening its doors tonight to celebrate the reinstatement of the business to its owners.

Temple entered voluntary liquidation in May this year, but after four months of hard work, the brewery is now back on its feet with business partner, Nick Pang expressing both relief and satisfaction at the re-birth of the business.

“This opening is the accumulation of 4 months of hard work to get Temple back,” he said.

To complement the re-opening of the Brunswick East brewery, the Temple brand has been reinvented with new look label designs and a fresh business approach.

“Things we will do differently will be greatly facilitated by having a team of astute, business savvy partners steering the brand. It will be all about the beer,” the company states.

In addition to a design overhaul, Temple will also be welcoming some new additions to its range including Anytime IPA, which is an easy-drinking, yet hop heavy IPA, and a heavily hopped pilsner set only for release in kegs to be announced shortly. The brewery’s old favourite, Bicycle Beer will also return to the brewery’s portfolio.

Ron Feruglio, brewery founder said that the opening could not have come soon enough.

“[I’m] Very excited and looking forward to getting back to doing what I do best,” he said.

“We will not change the uncompromising attention to detail and integrity that has always been the hallmark of the beer that Temple produces.”

Temple will reopen its doors tonight at 5pm and bottle stock will be hitting shelves around the country shortly through Phoenix Beers distribution.

“We are rapt to have Temple back in the portfolio,” said Todd Barac national sales manager of Phoenix Beers. “They are fantastic people with exceptional beers and we can’t wait to get the new look Temple back onto shelves where it belongs.”
