The Australian Food and Grocery Council (AFGC) has announced a new partnership with fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) senior executive search group, Touchstone Executive Search.
The AFGC is the peak body for Australia’s food and grocery manufacturing industry, while Touchstone is a group with expertise in securing senior executive talent to help clients achieve their business goals. Touchstone has been working and specialising in the FMCG and related industries since 2003.
Under the partnership agreement, the AFGC and Touchstone will work together to help the Australian food and grocery manufacturing industry meet emerging challenges around growth and profitability. They will also work towards understanding consumer needs and ensuring operations have the right skills and capabilities for the global 21st century marketplace.
Touchstone has been a sponsor of the AFGC for 15 years. The partnership builds on the important work the organisations are doing together to support the food and grocery manufacturing industry.
The partnership with Touchstone will enhance mentoring and educational opportunities for AFGC members and benefit the entire industry, according to AFGC CEO Tanya Barden.

The new partnership with the AFGC brings two close organisations even closer and will create new development opportunities for FMCG executives, Touchstone managing director Chris Klingbeil said.
