Trouble keeping your beer cold? Freeze the top

A Chinese beer maker has come up with a novel way to keep your coldie, well, cold.

The makers of Ichiban, Kiri, reckon that incorporating freezing into beer serving is a good idea; but without the dreaded explosion in the freezer when you leave you bottle in too long.

The solution involves freezing the foam and adding it to the top of your beer, almost like ice cream.

Apparently, the frozen foam keeps the beer colder and makes it taste better, but what we can’t understand is how do you drink the beer if the top is frozen?

Drinking beer with a straw just seems wrong….and would be a guarantee that you would be leaving the pub alone.
