WW, formerly Weight Watchers, has released a new Hazelnut Cocoa Spread in Australia this month, providing a healthier alternative to others on the market.
The newly debuted spread incorporates only 1g of sugar in each 15g serve, with no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or sweeteners. It is also free from palm oil, demonstrating a more ethical product.
The Hazelnut Cocoa Spread offers a rich chocolatey, nutty flavour with a smooth and creamy consistency, for use as a spread or for dipping or baking.
Contained in a 200g snack pot, it has become a favourite amongst WW members and TikTokers since launching on the WW shop. Recipes featuring the new spread have been shared on social media, including mug muffins, cinnamon scrolls, chocolate toasties and banana pancakes.
“Who doesn’t want to have their cake and eat it too?” WW ANZ director of Marketing, Program and Commercial Nicole McInnes said.
“We love the new WW Hazelnut Cocoa Spread because you can enjoy the same delicious chocolate spread experience with lower levels of sugar and with the bonus of no palm oil.
“Our WW community has wanted this for a while so we’re thrilled that we can deliver on that need,” McInnes said.
